A delegation of KDA Officers’ Association led by its acting General Secretary Mr Imran Aijaz met with the،DG KDA Mr Asif Ikram،on Wednesday,02,September,2020.
In the detailed one-hour meeting were discussed the matters of the officers regarding:
1. The delay in the payment of salaries
2. Termination of medical facilities
The DG vehemently assured that the authorities are constantly trying to bring out KDA out of its financial crisis along with restoring the medical facilities for the officers and payments of the pensioners’ arrears in the next 3 months.
Mr Asif Ikram diligently listened about the performance of the Officers’ Association and appreciated its working for the benefit of the department and its officers.
DG KDA Asif Ikram also discussed the reason of closure of the KDA Officers’ Club and expressed utter disappointment on the issue and further showed interest as the patron in chief of the club in the matter of restoring the recreation facilities of the club. Hence, he tasked the Officers Association to immediately form a committee with the coordination of the Managing Committee of KDA Officers’ Club and give proposals as to how the recreation facilities could again be resumed as soon as possible.
As a gratitude gesture, the Managing Committee KDA Officers Association offered honorary membership to DG KDA of KDA Officers’ Association which he accepted, and also offered his services for the seeking of land for remaing members of KDA Officers’ Association.
KDA Officers’ Association also invited him to visit to our officers’ hut at the Sandspit Beach which he kindly accepted.
