Karachi:(Staff Reporter)The Pakistan Hockey Team contingent departed from Islamabad Airport at 4:05 am by Etihad Airways Flight No. 232 to participate in the Commonwealth Games Birmingham.
The national hockey team officials include team manager Olympian Syed Sameer Hussain, head coach Siegfried Aikman, video analyst Nadeem Khan Lodhi, physiotherapist Adeel Akhtar, while the players include goalkeepers Akmal Hussain, Abdullah Ishtiaq Khan, Defenders Mubasher Ali, Imad Shakeel Butt, M. Hammaduddin Anjum, Mohammad Abdullah, Rizwan Ali, Midfielders Mohammad Umar Bhatta, Moeen Shakeel, Abdul Manan, Junaid Manzoor, Ghazanfar Ali, Attackers Ejaz Ahmed, Rana Abdul Waheed, Roman, Afraz, Abdul Hanan Shahid and Ahmed Nadeem are included. The Commonwealth Games will be held in Birmingham, England from July 28 to August 8.
