Karachi:(Staff Reporter) Prof. Dr. Qamar ul Arafeen, Director International Institute of Digital Forensic Science and Technology met with Prof. Dr. Saeeduddin, The Chairman, Board of Intermediate Education Karachi. In the meeting matters of concerns were discussed and the need to revise the advancement of curriculum was felt. Emerging Technologies and Digital Forensic courses from grass roots were also in the discussion. Considering the changing trends in the world, it was brought forward that Digital Forensic area should be a part of curriculum and that advance subjects like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Knowledge based systems should be introduced to the students at an early life, this could provide double impact as the young students belonging to both the genders being taught about the cybercrime, its cracking through digital forensics, it’s repercussion and the law, will definitively make them realize the grave consequences and the youth will avoid doing Cyber Crime and Pakistan will have a professional human resource standing in a few years as well.
After the meeting MoU was also signed between International Institute of Digital Forensic Science and Technology and Board of Intermediate Education Karachi to jumpstart Digital Forensic Courses, awareness workshop/ Seminar.
