President Dr.Arif Alvi meets a delegation of Bodybuilding associations.
Karachi:(Staff Reporter) Promoting the youth for sports of body building is need of te hour. Efforts of body building associations are praiseworthy, remarked Dr. Arif Alvi while meeting with a delegation of Sindh Body Building Association and Karachi Body Building Association, who called on him today at Governor’s house, Karachi.
While responding to a query, the President said that the association should meet with Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination, Dr. Fehmida Mirza to resolve the issues of the associations.
He appreciated steps taken by the associations to improve bodybuilding sports facilitiعs in the country.
Deliberations may be made on formation of a separate board for a single sport , he added.
PTI MPA Syed Abbas Jaferi, who is the patron-in-chief of Sindh Body Building Association also attended the meeting.
The Sindh Body Building Association was headed by its President Mr. Tariq Zafar and Karachi Body Building Association was headed by its president Mr. Muhammad Iqbal, Syed Saeed Jamil, General Secretary Sindh, whereas, Mr. Maison Raza, General Secretary were also present in the meeting.
