KU issuing enrollment cards to newcomers from today

 

The Directors Admission, University of Karachi, on Thursday announced that KU
Admission Committee has issued the admission list and students who have
secured their admissions after submitting fees are advised to complete
their enrolment formalities.

After completing the said procedure, students would receive their enrolment
cards from the Arts Auditorium, KU, from 09am to 3pm from Friday
(today) January
11, 2019.

Meanwhile, he mentioned that faculty-wise schedule is also available at
University of Karachi website www.uok.edu.pk and www.uokadmission.edu.pk.

Moreover, he mentioned that KU has given last chance to submit admission
fees for academic session-2019.

The Director Admissions, KU, mentioned that the candidates, who have taken
admissions in bachelors and masters program on open merit or test based or
on reserved quota or self financed seats, but due to any reason(s) could
not submit their fees are given one last chance to secure their admissions
by depositing fees on Friday (today), January 11, 2019.

KU organizing fifth international conference on environmental horizon on
Jan 11

The Department of Chemistry, International Center for Chemical and
Biological Sciences and Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization
of University of Karachi, are jointly organizing fifth international
conference, entitled ‘Environmental Horizon, sounding the alarm!
Environment, Climate Change and Health’ at Professor Dr Salimuzzaman
Siddiqui Auditorium, ICCBS, KU, on January 11, 2019, Friday (today).

The minister of state for climate change, Zartaj Gul, would be the chief
guest of the inaugural session which is scheduled at 3:30pm. The special
secretary, development and monitoring, department of health, Sindh
government, Dr Dabeer A Khan, would be the guest of honor.

Meanwhile, the Vice Chancellor, KU, Professor Dr Muhammad Ajmal Khan, the
Director General, World Wide Fund for Nature, Pakistan, Hammad Naqi Khan,
the Patron-in-chief ICCBS, KU, and the former federal minister for science
and technology, Professor Dr Atta-ur-Rahman, the Director ICCBS, KU,
Professor Dr M Iqbal Choudhary, the Dean, Faculty of Science, KU, Professor
Dr Tasneem Adam Ali, the Chairman Chemistry Department, Professor Dr Majid
Mumtaz and Dr James Schauer would shed lights on the climate related
issues. The event is schedule from Friday (today) till Sunday.
