Karachi University Annual Pharma Career Fair a platform for students, Dr

A good number of leading pharmaceutical companies participated in the
Karachi University Annual Pharma Career Fair (KUAPCF) on Thursday and
interacted with the students of the faculty of pharmacy.

The Faculty of the Pharmacy, University of Karachi, has arranged KUAPCF in
its new building in which representatives of leading pharmacy companies
have setup their installs. They briefed about the products of their
respective pharma organizations and also share usages of different
medicines with the students.

On this occasion, the students also submitted their curriculum vitae and
hoped that information gathered from this Fair would be helpful for them in
future. The Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy, KU, Professor Dr Raheela Ikram,
visited all installs and expressed that further improvement in pharmacist
work would help in better performance in the health sector.

“Along with curriculum activities, the co-curriculum activities are also
very important and provide a platform to enhance the abilities and skills.”
The Student’s Advisor of Pharmacy Faculty, Dr Iyad Naeem, mentioned that
KUAPCF provides a solid platform to the students to learn out their books
and syllabus and establish contacts with the pharmaceutical companies.

“Such events also provide them a chance to present their professional
abilities and skills in front of the representatives of the leading pharma
organizations.”

Dr Iyad Naeed advised that only qualified pharmacist should be appointed at
pharmacies and medical stores as they are experts of medicines and
preferred early recovery of the patients.

Meanwhile, Professor Dr Iqbal Azhar said that youngsters are assets of the
country and as a faculty member it is our responsibility to enhance their
abilities. He advised that students should avail from such events.

KU announces reserved seats admission list

The Director Admissions, University of Karachi, on Thursday announced the
list of admissions on reserved seats for KU Admissions 2019 bachelors and
masters program. He informed that the list of sports quota admissions would
be issue on Monday, January 07, 2019.

He mentioned that students could submit their admission fees till January
10, 2019. He said that online fees submission facility is available for the
students. Meanwhile, the Director Admissions, KU, said that that the
varsity has extended the fees submission deadline for the students who have
secured admission on self-finance seats till January 10, 2019.

KU announces schedule of BA B.Com registration

The Controller of Examinations, University of Karachi, on Thursday
announced the schedule of registration of BA, B.Com, BOL and improvement of
division (BA, B.Com, B,Sc).

He mentioned that candidates could submit Rs3800/- till January 17, 2019
without any late fees charges. He said that change of subject would be
allowed with prescribed fees of Rs1000/- and change of faculty would be
allowed with fees of Rs1500/-.

He advised that students should avail online fees submission facility while
forms are available on University of Karachi website, www.uok.edu.pk.

He added that forms would be received by the Registration Unit (External)
counter No-3, at the Silver Jubilee Gate, KU, after online payment.
