KARACHI: Girls Netball Cup has begun, Secretary Sports Sindh Haroon Ahmed Khan threw ball into the net in the inaugural ceremony. The opening match was played in the Under-17 category, between the City School PAF and the City School Darakhshan, in which City School PAF won by 11-1 goals in the first round. The second match was played between Habib Girls College and St. Joseph’s Girls College, Habib Girls won the match with twenty goals.
In the third match, the Trinity Girls College won against City School University Road by 4-3.
Dr. Shahzad Parvez Bhatti, Director Sports Sindh, Mr. Muddasir Arain, President of Pakistan Netball Federation, Mr. Riaz, Secretary of Pakistan Netball Federation, Ejaz ul Haq, Secretary Sindh Netball Association, Maqbool Ahmed Secretary Pakistan Throwball Federation, Intizar Haider City School South Region Co-ordinator, were also present on this occasion.
The fourth match was played in the Under-15 category of the City School Gulshan and Trinity Girls School, in which the City School Gulshan won by 4-1 goals.
