The Transport Unit of the University of Karachi on Thursday issued point
buses and shuttle service schedule for 2019.
According to the Chairman, Transport Committee, KU, Dr Zamin Shaheed
Siddiqui, a point bus coming from Gulshan-e-Hadeed would leave at 07:50am
and it would come from Steel Town Gate, Quaidabad, Sharea Faisal, Rashid
Minhas Road, NIPA, Silver Jubilee Gate, KU, whereas the departure from the
Campus is schedule at 1:30pm through Malir City till Steel Town.
Another point bus is schedule to leave at 07:30am from Korangi Crossing,
via Korangi 2 ½, Sharea Faisal, Rashid Minhas Road, NIPA, Silver Jubilee
Gate, KU, and would return till Korangi Crossing at 1:30pm. As per
schedule, a point bus would leave at 07:40am from Korangi No5 via
Quaidabad, Sharea Faisal, Rashid Minhas Road, NIPA, Silver Jubilee Gate,
KU, and would go back at 1:30pm.
One of the point buses is schedule to leave at 07:35am from Landhi Babar
Market via Quaidabad, Sharea Faisal, Rashid Minhas Road, NIPA, Silver
Jubilee Gate, KU, and would left Campus at 1:30pm while a point bus would
leave from Malir Jinnah Square at 07:30am via Nad-e-Ali, Saudabad, Malir
Tanki, Sharea Faisal, Rashid Minhas Road, NIPA, Silver Jubilee Gate, KU,
and would depart at 1:30pm.
Another point bus would leave at 07:40am from Malir Jinnah Square via
Nad-e-Ali, Saudabad, Malir Tanki, Sharea Faisal, Rashid Minhas Road, NIPA,
Silver Jubilee Gate, KU, and would go back via Khokrapar No 2 ½, Malir
Jinnah Square at 1:30pm.
A point bus is schedule to leave from Malir City at 07:45am via Shrea
Faisal, Rashid Minhas Road, NIPA, Silver Jubilee Gate, KU, and would return
at 1:30pm whereas another point bus would left Malir Halt via Sharea Faisal
and Rashid Minhas Road at 07:40am.
Another point bus would leave at 07:45am from Malir Model colony via
Railway Line, Check Post No6, Safoora Goth, Silver Jubilee Gate, KU, and
would return at 1:30pm and a point bus from Shah Faisal Colony (MCB Stop)
would leave at 07:35am and would come through Drigh Station, Sharea Faisal,
Rashid Minhas Road, NIPA, Silver Jubilee Gate, KU.
One of the point buses is schedule to leave at 07:45am from Shah Faisal
Colony No5 via Shama Shopping Centre, Drigh Station, Shrea Faisal, Rashid
Minhas Road, Jauhar Morr, Jauhar Chowrangi, Samama Shopping Mall, Silver
Jubilee Gate, KU, and would return back to Shah Faisal Colony No5 at 1:30pm.
A point bus is schedule to leave from Gulshan-e-Maymar at 07:30am via 4K
Chowrangi, 2mintue Chowrangi, Power House, Nagan Chowrangi, Sohrab Goth,
NIPA, Silver Jubilee Gate, KU, and would go back to Maymar at 1:30.
Another point bus would leave at 07:35am from New Karachi Kala School via
2mintue Chowrangi, Power House, Nagan Chowrangi, Sohrab Goth, Gulshan
Chowrangi, Maskan Chowrangi, Silver Jubilee Gate, KU, and left Campus at
1:30.
One of the point buses is schedule to leave at 07:40am from UP Morr via
Disco Morr, Baradari, Ajmeer Nagri, Power House, Nagan Chowrangi, Sohrab
Goth, Gulshan Chowrangi, NIPA, Silver Jubilee Gate, KU, and would leave at
1:30pm.
A point bus would leave at 07:35am from Nazimabad Board Office via Hydri,
Sakhi Hasan, Nagan Chowrangi, Sohrab Goth, Gulshan Chowrangi, NIPA, Silver
Jubilee Gate, KU, and would depart at 1:30pm from the Campus.
Another point bus would leave at 07:30am from Khilafat Chowk via Qalderia,
Habibiya and would leave at 1:30pm while another point bus would leave at
07:40am from Orangi No5 via Qasba Morr, Banaras, Habib Bank, Petrol Pump,
Liaquatabad No10, Hasan Square, NIPA, Silver Jubilee Gate, KU, and would
left the Campus at 1:30pm.
One of the point buses is schedule to leave at 07:30am from Orangi Town via
Banaras Chowk, Abdullah College, Board Office, Peoples’ Chowrangi, Water
Pump No16, Fazil Mill, NIPA, Silver Jubilee Gate, KU, and would depart at
1:30pm.
A point bus is schedule to leave at 07:30am from Bismila Hotel via Bara
Board, Golimar Chowrangi, Liaquatabad Dhakhana, Liaquatabad No10,
Ghareebabad, Hasan Square, NIPA, Silver Jubilee Gate, KU, and would leave
from the Campus at 1:30pm.
Another point bus would leave at 07:40am from Hussanabad via Aliabad,
Ayub Manzil, Dental College, Fazil Mill, Gulshan Chowrangi, Maskan
Chowrangi, Silver Jubilee Gate, KU, and depart at 1:30pm.
One of the point buses is schedule to leave at 07:40am form Defence Morr
via FTC, Gora Kaburistan, Sharea Quaiden, Tariq Road Kaburistan,
Bahadurabad, Duhrajee, National Stadium, Hasan Square, NIPA, Silver Jubilee
Gate, KU, and would returned at 1:30pm.
At 07:30am, a point bus would leave from Keamari via Tower, Burns Road,
Islamia College, Jail Road, New Town, Old Sabzi Mandi, Hasan Square, NIPA,
Silver Jubilee Gate, KU, and would go back at 1:30pm.
A point bus would leave at 07:30am from Mominabad via Metrovil, SITE,
Valika, Habib Bank, Nazimabad, Liaquatabad, hasan Square, NIPA and would
left the Campus at 1:30pm. Meanwhile, on Friday point buses would leave at
12:45pm (morning shift) and 4:45pm (evening shift) respectively.
As per schedule issued by the Transport Unit, KU, all shuttle service buses
would be available from 08:30am till 09:30am from Maskan and Silver Jubilee
Gate, KU.
