KU organizing pictorial exhibition on Jan18 to mark University Day

The University of Karachi is organizing a pictorial exhibition on account of Youm-e-Jamia on Friday, January 18, 2019.
The Dean, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, KU, Professor Nasreen Aslam Shah, mentioned that the exhibition entitled: Jamia Karachi humari nazar main (The University of Karachi: the way we see it) would be organized by the second years students of Department of Social Works, KU.
She said that the exhibition is schedule at 11am at Arts Auditorium, KU, and aimed to promote and highlight the historic buildings and aspects of Karachi University.

KU Research Scholars get projects of worth Rs81.43 million from HEC
Pakistan.

The University of Karachi has obtained as many as 25 research projects
which worth around Rs81.43 million from the Higher Education Commission
Pakistan.
The HEC Pakistan under its National Research Program for Universities has
awarded these projects under the research scheme 2016-17. The Dr Afsheen
Aman from Dr A. Q. Khan Institute of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering
has received a project worth Rs6, 28, 9904/-, project of Dr Asia Naz of
Pharmaceutical Chemistry worth Rs6, 21, 2383/-, Professor Dr Muhammad Haris
Shoaib from Pharmaceutics has received Rs2, 99, 6236/-, Dr Huma Ikram of
